Common Questions

Polished Concrete FAQ

Can my existing concrete be polished?
Most concrete slabs can be polished — even old, stained, or previously coated slabs. We assess the condition at your free estimate and tell you exactly what's possible. The main factors are slab thickness and the presence of major cracks or structural issues.
How long does polished concrete installation take?
Most residential jobs are completed in 1–2 days depending on the size of the space and the gloss level selected. Commercial jobs vary. We give you an exact timeline at your estimate.
Is polished concrete slippery?
At lower gloss levels (matte and satin), polished concrete has excellent traction — more so than many tile and hardwood floors. High-gloss finishes can be more slippery when wet, which we discuss with you before selecting a finish.
How much does polished concrete cost in Central Florida?
Our polished concrete starts at $6/sq ft and ranges to $11/sq ft depending on the gloss level, size of the space, and condition of the existing concrete. We provide a written quote after your free on-site assessment.
